We recommend flying into the Kota Kinabalu International Airport (BKI)!

Getting to Shangri-La Rasa Ria, Kota Kinabalu
There are lots of ways to get in to the resort! The best most efficient way is through Airport Taxi or e-hailing Grab app , they are reasonably priced and the fastest way to get to your destination. There are also several car rental options in airport,(you may opt for this if you are staying for a longer duration of time).

For women
Maxi/Midi dresses or suits in light colour, muted tone or floral. Traditional clothes (such as Qipao) are welcome! Just wear anything makes you look best but please avoid dark or high saturation colours. 

For men: 
Formal, casual formal in light colour or muted tone. Please avoid slippers.

It is an excellent month in May, with dry, sunny days the norm, although infrequent showers should still be expected especially in the rainforest. The weather average highs of 32°C and lows of 24°C.

Our wedding ceremony and cocktail are outdoors, but the dinner reception will be indoor.

Calling all ladies! We recommend chunky heels or sandals. Because the cocktails will take place on the lawn, so it will be a little bit challenge to walk on the grass wearing stiletto heels.

For guests who decide to stay in Shangri-la Rasa Ria, there are golf court, free tennis court, kids club and plenty of activities can take part in. The most highlighted part of the hotel is a natural reserve. It’s a 64 acre coastal jungle nestled at the foot of Sabah’s iconic Mount Kinabalu – a UNESCO World Heritage Site, where guests can hike with a guide.
